Please note that all below are subject to change – based on Manitoba Health Regulations. Sanford Arena will operate in accordance with all regulations and recommendations by Federal, Provincial and Municipal governing bodies with regards to COVID-19.  Sanford Arena will be in no way liable for persons in the facility contracting a communicable disease – the facility is considered to enter at your own risk.

 

Entry Protocol

• One parent per player may enter for pick up and drop off

• Participants aged 12 and under - must be signed into the facility by an adult (parent/coach) - the adult signing in the participant must provide proof of vaccination and photo ID.

• Enter the facility through east parking lot doors

• All persons age 18 and over must provide proof of vaccination and personal identification to canteen staff upon entry. 

• Masks must be worn at all times - except participants when they are on the ice surface.

 

Spectators

• Spectators may be denied entry if spectator capacity is reached.  

• Spectators over the age of 18 must provide proof of vaccination and photo ID. Spectators under the age of 12 must be accompanied by a vaccinated adult.  Unvaccinated youth (12-17) may attend as a spectator unaccompanied provided there is no admission charge for spectators.  If admission is charged – unvaccinated youth (12-17) must be accompanied by a vaccinated adult.

• No spectators are allowed in the building until ice time starts and must exit at the end of ice time.

 

General Use

• Participants who need assistance dressing are to arrive dressed. Coaches are to tie skates for those who require assistance

• Adults in dressing rooms will be limited to coaching staff only

• Washrooms are open.

• Bottle fill station will be open. 

• Water fountains will be closed.  NO dumping of liquids, NO spraying of liquids.

• Outside food and drink is discouraged.

• Access to the facility for participants only will be allowed between 15 and 30 minutes prior to ice slot start time.

• Participants must exit the facility within 15 minutes of the end of their ice time.

 

All those entering the facility must

• Pre-screen prior to entry.

• Use hand sanitizer at the entrance to the facility.

• Maintain social distancing at all times.

• Follow any instructions outlined by facility staff.

• Check in with canteen staff and provide personal identification and proof of double vaccination if over the age of 18.

• No one is allowed entry if they have not completed any required self-isolation period.

• No one is allowed in the facility if they are unwell.

• Mask use is mandatory inside the facility - participants while on the ice are exempt.
